We produce two types of spiral classifier: high dam spiral classifier and high dam double spiral classifier, immersed spiral classifier. Of which, single-spiral classifiers have common and improved two types.
The improved type adds lifting returning-sanding equipment the returning-sand end, lifting equipment lifts the sand which was at the bottom of tank before to upper inner wall, then discharge it, this discharging type is used to situation no spoon connecting with ball mill, that can save power 1-1.5°per ton ore, avoiding frequent maintenance s release the wear of gear wheel and pinion.
Spiral Classifier Application:
The mill and classifier are a correlated set. The effect of classifier has impact on the efficiency of mill. So it is a key point in the mineral separation process to select well the classifying equipment. The spiral classifier can be divided into the single spiral classifier and double spiral classifier according to the spiral axle quantity.
It is divided into the high dam type, the low dam type, and the sinking type according to the overflow dam height. This instruction is only for the low dam type and the sinking type. The overflow position of high dam type of spiral classifier is above the center of the lower spiral axle but below the upper part of the overflow spire. It has certain falling area, applicable for classifying rough granules to obtain an overflowing force more than 100mesh. The whole screw of the sinking type of spiral classifier at the overflow end sinks below the liquid surface of the falling section which has a large area and depth. So it is applicable for classifying fine granules to attain an overflow granularity of less than 100mesh.
Spiral Classifier working principle
The classifier is grading equipment, according to the principle that solid particles size and proportion are different, thus the settling velocity in liquids is different, fine mineral particles floating in the water to overflow out, the crude ore particles settling to the bottom, then discharged by the spiral into the upper part, to carry out grading.
It is able to grade and filter the material which grinds to powder by grinding mill, then use of helix vane, send the coarse material into mill feed mouth, and filter out the fine material discharged from the overflow pipe
