Tungsten metal can be used in aerospace, shipbuilding, automobile industry, electronics industry and many other fields.Tungsten ore is characterized by general hardness and brittleness in nature, so rod grinders are usually used in the selection of grinding equipment.
Project background
The project is located in Uzbekistan. The ore processed is tungsten ore, with a grade of WO3 of about 7%; the upper limit of the ore feed particle size is ≤200mm; the hardness is medium hardness; the mud content and water content of the ore are less than 6%; since the particles above 1mm contain undissolved tungsten ore, the ore has a grinding fineness of 1mm.
Process flow
1.Crushing stage: After the extracted ore is transported to the selection plant, it is stacked in the raw ore yard and loaded by the loader to the raw ore warehouse.The ore is fed from the raw ore warehouse by the trough feeder into the jaw crusher, and the particle size of the final product is ≤25mm.The crushed ore is transported to the powder ore yard by belt;
2.Grinding and reselection stage: The ore is fed into the rod mill by the belt conveyor, and the rod mill products pass through the jig first, so that the large-particle tungsten ore is re-selected first, and the qualified grade ore is obtained. The tungsten ore after the jig is then graded by the spiral classifier. Those with qualified particle sizes enter the reselection stage, and those with coarse particle sizes return to the rod mill to continue grinding.;
3.The products that are qualified for grinding are transported from the pump to the continuous hydraulic classifier, and the fine mud in the slurry is separated out and resorted to a shaker separately; the bottom of the continuous hydraulic grading flows to the top of the spiral chute and enters the first set of spiral chutes for rough selection, the concentrate enters the shaker for selection, and the middle ore returns to the spiral classifier to continue grading and grinding, so that the tungsten ore that has not been dissociated continues to dissociate, and the tailings enter the second set of spiral chutes.The concentrates of the two groups of chutes are all selected by the shaker, the middle ore is transported by the pump to the spiral classifier, the tailings enter the dewatering screen for dehydration, and the dehydrated tailings are pulled away by the transport truck.The sieved water is precipitated by the sedimentation tank and returned to the system.
Project results
The mineral selected product is the selected tungsten concentrate, with a water content of ≤3%; the water content of the tailings after the dry discharge and dehydration of the tailings is about 15-20%, which can be shipped out for storage and returned to the water for reuse.
