Aluminum ash slag is a block or granular slag produced during the smelting, remelting, alloying, and waste aluminum smelting and recycling of metal aluminum. There is a certain amount of elemental aluminum in the aluminum ash slag. The aluminum slag produced by different industries has different aluminum content. Generally, the aluminum content of aluminum ash slag is about 3%-60%. Aluminum ash slag with an aluminum content of more than 60% can be directly recycled or recycled; aluminum ash slag with a low aluminum content requires special equipment to separate aluminum and ash before the aluminum particles can be sent to the smelting furnace to remelt aluminum to increase the aluminum recovery rate.

The main equipment for traditional aluminum ash slag separation includes Aluminum ash slag ball mill, drum screens and other equipment. The process of the traditional ball mill screening aluminum extraction production line is: receiving hopper → belt conveyor → ball mill → bucket elevator (belt conveyor) → drum screen → ton bag. The maximum average fineness of aluminum particles produced by the traditional production line is about 80 meshes-120 meshes.

Based on a large amount of application practice experience and customer feedback, our company has improved and upgraded the ball mill, drum screen, conveyor and other equipment on the basis of the traditional ball mill screening production line, and designed and developed a new aluminum ash slag ball mill screening production line.

The new production system can not only improve the processing capacity of aluminum ash slag and improve the recovery efficiency of metal aluminum, but also has large production capacity, compact equipment layout, and easier dust control. The new process flow is: dust suppression hopper → quantitative feeder → ball mill → elevator → drum screen → powder selector → ton bag. The maximum average fineness of aluminum particles produced by the new process production line is about 150 mesh-200 mesh.
