Copper ore beneficiation process
A grinding + flotation process
scope of application
It is suitable for processing copper minerals with coarse and uniform particle size, and copper minerals and gangues are loosely combined and the contact edges are smooth and flat.
Main process conditions
Usually ground to -200 mesh 50-60%. Copper minerals are basically dissociated as monomers;
Grinding fineness
A better flotation index can be obtained through rough selection, sweep selection, and one to three selections;
One-stage grinding + flotation coarse concentrate regrinding process
scope of application
It is suitable for processing single sulfide ore or copper-molybdenum ore of porphyry copper ore.
Main process conditions
The raw ore is ground to -200 mesh at 40%~70%. Go to flotation, coarse concentrate is ground again, and the fineness of regrinding is determined according to the dissociation of mineral monomers;
Grinding fineness
After roughing and sweeping, a large amount of tailings are thrown away. Coarse concentrate goes to regrind. After regrinding, the final copper concentrate is obtained through two to three times of beneficiation.
Flotation process
Process characteristics
When the raw ore grade is low and the processing capacity is large, the concentrator can obtain better economic benefits. Due to the regrinding of coarse concentrate, the particle size is finer, the monomer dissociation of copper minerals, gangue minerals and pyrite is better, and the quality of flotation concentrate is higher.
