The specific gravity of antimony ore is much higher than that of vein ore. It is sorted by gravity separation, which has various characteristics and can pre enrich low-grade ores. After gravity separation, antimony ore can be purified by flotation. Therefore, Xingkuang Group usually adopts a combined process of gravity separation and flotation for antimony ore beneficiation.

The gravity separation flotation combined process of Xingkuang Group is basically applicable to all types of antimony ore.
[Process Introduction]
The specific process of the combined process of gravity separation and flotation is as follows: the manually selected raw ore is subjected to coarse and fine crushing, and the ore particle size is controlled below 30mm. The ore is sieved and classified into three particle sizes: 8-30mm, 2-8mm, and 0-2mm, and then enters the AM30 jigs, LTA10102 jigs, and sawtooth wave jigs for jig reselection. The resulting concentrate is mixed and enters the gravity separation concentrate area. After the reselection process, a flotation process is set up to grind, grade, stir, and float the reselection tailings. The flotation process adopts a one coarse, three fine, and two sweep flotation process. High grade antimony flotation concentrate is obtained through flotation. The flotation tailings are subjected to shaking table reselection to recover fine-grained antimony oxide, resulting in high-grade antimony concentrate and tailings.
For block shaped rich ores with extremely coarse embedded particle size, Xingkuang Group has added a manual selection process in the crushing process. The block shaped rich ores are manually selected, and the manually selected tailings are crushed and screened again before entering the re-election process.
[Application Example]
The antimony content in antimony ore in a project of Xingkuang Group is 3.19%. Among them, antimony sulfide accounts for about 95.30% of the total antimony, and a small amount of antimony exists in the oxide antimonite or antimonate, accounting for about 4.70% of the total antimony; The carbon content in the ore is 6.43%, of which inorganic carbon is as high as 5.46%, belonging to high carbon and difficult to select antimony sulfide ore. After testing by Yingkuang Group, it was determined to use the combined process of gravity separation and flotation for antimony ore recovery. The experiment finally obtained a mixed antimony concentrate with an antimony grade of 58.71% and a recovery rate of 93.75%, which reduced the pollution of tailings to the environment and brought huge economic benefits.
