There are usually two types of BF flotation machines: Type I and Type II. Type I is designed according to the improvement of SF flotation machine, while Type II is designed according to the improvement of JJF flotation machine. Type I bf flotation machine is a suction tank, and Type II bf flotation machine is a DC tank. These two models are usually referred to as bf flotation machine. There are six main points to note about the installation and operation of the bf flotation machine:

1. After assembling the impeller mechanism, align it on the main beam installed on the groove, ensuring that the main shaft is perpendicular to the horizontal plane.

2. Before assembling the impeller and large pulley, a static balance test must be conducted, and the unbalanced torque should not exceed 200g/cm. When assembling, ensure the required axial and radial clearance between the flotation machine impeller and the cover plate (axial clearance of 3-5mm, radial clearance of 11mm).

3. The scraper axis is required to be horizontal and concentric, with flexible operation. The valves of the intermediate tank and tailings tank must be adjusted flexibly.

4. The association between adjacent single slots and the connection design between the feed (tail) ore box, middle box, and slot body are connected by bolts, and there should be no leakage of ore at each connection. It can also be changed to welded connection after agreement.

5. After assembly, a trial run should be conducted before leaving the factory to check whether the bearings are heating up, whether the mechanical operation is normal, and whether there are any abnormal phenomena.

6. After the unit is fully installed by the user, it should be operated without load. After normal operation, the tank should be filled with water and run continuously for 8 hours without any problems before being put into production.
