4. Adjustment mode of the ore discharge outlet
1) Shim adjustment. Place a group of gaskets with equal thickness between the rear thrust plate support and the rear wall of the frame. By increasing or reducing the number of gasket layers, the ore discharge port of the crusher is reduced or increased. This method can be adjusted at multiple levels. The machine structure is compact and can reduce the weight of the equipment, but it must be stopped during adjustment. This adjustment method is often used in large jaw crushers.
2) Wedge adjustment. With the relative movement of the two wedges between the rear thrust plate support and the rear wall of the frame, the adjustment of the ore discharge port of the crusher is realized. This is a stepless adjustment method, which is convenient to adjust, saves time and does not need to stop for adjustment. This adjustment device is often used in small and medium-sized jaw crushers.
