Daily maintenance of intermittent ceramic ball mills requires special attention in equipment inspection, component cleaning, lubrication management, etc. The following are the specific contents:

Intermittent Ceramic Ball Mill

1. Overall inspection of equipment

Appearance inspection: Before and after daily startup, check whether the appearance of the equipment is obviously damaged or deformed, and whether the bolts of each connection part are loose, especially the connection parts between the cylinder and the end cover, the motor and the reducer. If there is any looseness, it needs to be tightened in time to prevent equipment failure or vibration from being aggravated due to looseness.

Operation status monitoring: During the operation of the equipment, its operating conditions should be closely observed, including whether the motor current and voltage are stable, and whether there is abnormal noise or vibration. If the current suddenly increases, the noise is abnormally sharp, or the vibration is significantly aggravated, the machine should be stopped for inspection immediately. It may be caused by uneven distribution of grinding media, material blockage, or component damage.

2. Component inspection and cleaning

Grinding media: Regularly check the wear and quantity of the grinding media. If the grinding media is found to be severely worn, cracked or missing, it should be replenished and replaced in time. Generally, a comprehensive inspection of the grinding media is required every 500-1000 hours of operation. At the same time, clean the materials attached to the surface of the grinding medium to prevent affecting the grinding effect.

Liner: Check the wear degree of the liner, especially the easily worn parts such as the feed port, discharge port and the bottom of the cylinder. If the wear of the liner exceeds 2/3 of the original thickness, it usually needs to be replaced. Every time the machine is shut down, clean the materials and dust on the surface of the liner, check for looseness or falling off, and ensure that the liner is firmly installed.

Feed and discharge device: Check whether the feed and discharge ports are blocked or worn, and clean the materials adhering to the inner wall of the feed pipe and discharge pipe in time to ensure smooth feeding and discharging. For components such as spiral feeders, check the wear of the spiral blades. If there is wear, it should be repaired or replaced in time.

3. Lubrication and cooling system maintenance

Lubrication management: According to the requirements of the equipment manual, lubricate each lubrication point regularly, and generally add grease to bearings and other parts once every 1-2 weeks. At the same time, check the quality and amount of the lubricating oil. If the oil is found to be black, dirty or insufficient, it should be replaced or replenished in time.

Cooling system inspection: For ball mills with cooling systems, check whether the cooling water pipeline is leaking or blocked, whether the cooling water pump is working normally, and whether the cooling water temperature is within the normal range. Generally, the cooling water temperature is controlled at 30-40℃. Clean the scale and impurities in the cooling system regularly to ensure the cooling effect.

4. Electrical system maintenance

Electrical component inspection: Regularly check the electrical components in the motor and control cabinet to check whether there are overheating, sparking, poor contact, etc., and whether the connecting wires of each electrical component are loose. If the electrical components are damaged or the connecting wires are loose, they should be replaced or tightened in time.

Insulation detection: Perform insulation detection on the motor and electrical circuit at regular intervals (such as 3-6 months) to ensure that the insulation resistance meets the requirements and prevent safety accidents such as leakage.
