Graphite has good buoyancy, and it is currently used for flotation. The commonly used flotation agents are kerosene, No. 2 oil, water glass, lime, etc. Due to the large degree of inlaying of graphite, the grinding fineness is coarse, usually 100 mesh accounts for 45-60%.
Flake graphite mostly adopts the flotation process of squeezing and re-grinding of coarse-tipped mines, that is, rough grinding and rough-sorting are first performed to obtain low-grade tip minerals (grades of 40-50%) mainly composed of contiguous bodies, and then low-grade fines are produced. The mine is reground and re-elected to the final concentrate. The re-grinding time is 3-7 times, generally 3-4 times. The final concentrate grade is generally between 85-89%. It is used to inhibit symbiotic minerals such as pyrite and mica. Can add lime, paste tip, water glass and other agents.

It is widely used in various sectors of the national economy such as mineral processing, construction and chemical industry.
Flotation machines: Flotation machines are mainly used in non-ferrous metals (copper, lead, zinc, gold, silver, platinum and tungsten, molybdenum, tantalum, lithium, tantalum, uranium, etc.), ferrous metals (iron ore, titanium ore, manganese ore, Vanadium ore, etc., are mostly processed by magnetic separation, and the beneficiation of non-metallic mine resources, that is, flotation beneficiation processes, in addition, can also be used in the flotation separation of some special substances such as electrolytic aluminum.
