Lime vertical kiln, opposite to lime rotary kiln, is an upright cylindrical cylindrical equipment with all-steel structure. It uses the principle of heat exchange between the material's own weight and the rise of hot air for lime burning.
Lime shaft kiln, used for calcination of limestone, is the most important equipment in the lime production line.
Due to the advantages of low energy consumption, small footprint, low investment, and wide fuel applicability, it is widely used in metallurgy, building materials, calcium carbide, nano-calcium carbonate, aerated concrete and other industries.
1. The lime shaft kiln has large operating flexibility, which can be adjusted arbitrarily from 60-100%, and stable production can be achieved.
2. Applicable fuels are solid fuels such as coke and anthracite
3. Low heat consumption and reasonable utilization of heat energy. The secondary high temperature air preheated by the cooling lime directly participates in the combustion
4. The vertical kiln adopts micro-negative pressure operation (kiln top) to make the air flow in the kiln evenly distributed, which is conducive to the calcination of lime
The limestone and raw coal ingredients are mixed and transported to the top of the kiln, where the distributor is used to complete the distribution of the furnace. The material moves slowly from top to bottom by its own gravity, and successively passes through the preheating zone, the decomposition zone and the cooling zone. During the descending process, the material exchanges heat with the hot rising gas stream, and completes the calcination of lime along with the decomposition of limestone and the growth of quicklime crystal grains.
