During the operation of the grinding unit, the operator of the unit shall be responsible for the equipment and production indicators.Therefore, in order to ensure the normal progress of the grinding process, the operator needs to continuously inspect, maintain and adjust the grinding machine and its ancillary facilities, work indicators and product quality.The main contents of inspection and maintenance are:

1.Grinder inspection: a.Pay attention to check the loosening of the screws in each part, especially the loosening and breaking of the liner screws, resulting in slurry leakage; B.Check the wear of the sand return spoon head; c.Pay attention to the roughness or spitting of the discharge of the grinder.

 

2.Oil supply system inspection: a.Always check whether the oil pressure is normal and should be kept at 1.5~2.0 kg/cm2; b.Check the oil volume and oil temperature, and the oil temperature shall not exceed 30℃; C.Check whether the oil flow distribution of the main shaft journal is uniform; d.The viscosity and cleanliness of the oil.

 

3.Motor and electrical inspection.Mainly check the temperature of the motor, and its temperature rise does not exceed the allowable value.

 

4.Grading equipment inspection: a.Check whether the blades of the spiral classifier are falling off and whether the rotation is stable; B.Whether the feed pressure of the cyclone is stable, and whether there is wear leakage or blockage.

 

Inspection of grinding load

The load of the grinding unit includes the original ore feed volume and the sand return volume.Ensuring the uniformity and stability of the grinding load is an important condition for achieving good grinding results.

 

1.The ore feed volume should be kept constant and stable, and the ore feed volume should be checked regularly.;

 

2.Observe the changes in the particle size of the ore feed at any time, adjust in time, and discharge as many materials as possible from the silo.

 

3.Keep an eye on the sand return and water replenishment situation, so as to achieve a balance between the original ore supply, sand return and overflow.

 

4.Pay attention to the changes in the motor current and the sound of the grinder, judge the load of the grinder accordingly, and eliminate the “belly swelling” in the initial stage.

 

Quality inspection of grinding graded products

The quality of milled mineral products mainly refers to the quality score and fineness of graded overflow. These two indicators directly affect the quality of subsequent sorting operations. They must be measured frequently, observed frequently, tested frequently, and adjusted frequently.

 

In short, during the work period, the operator should walk around frequently, inspect frequently, test frequently (touch test), adjust frequently, observe frequently, and pay attention to sound changes to ensure that the grinding rock group is in the best working condition and obtain good grinding results.
