The sorting of copper ore is mainly by flotation, and the joint process of reselection or smelting can also be used.

Flotation machine

Sorting of copper sulfide ore: different processes are used according to the nature of the ore:

(1) To deal with copper ore embedded with very fine copper ore, choose stage grinding, stage flotation or multi-stage grinding, centralized flotation process.

(2) For the treatment of copper—zinc ores containing high sulfur, the copper—zinc mixed concentrate is selected by two-stage grinding and other flotation processes. The tailings are flotation with copper to obtain the zinc-sulfur mixed concentrate, and then separated separately to obtain the copper concentrate, zinc concentrate and sulfur concentrate.;

(3) For the treatment of copper ore containing more pyrite, a stage of grinding and copper—sulfur mixed flotation process is used, and the crude concentrate is mixed and then ground for copper and sulfur separation.;

(4) For the treatment of copper ore containing low-grade molybdenum, a stage of grinding and mixed flotation process is generally used to select the copper—molybdenum mixed concentrate, and the mixed concentrate is then ground and the copper and molybdenum are separated.;

(5) To deal with ores that contain more mineral mud and have a large difference in the floatability of sediment, the sediment sorting process is used.

Sorting of mixed copper ore:

(1) The acid leaching-precipitation—flotation process is suitable for processing oxidized ores with high copper content. The process is: spraying the ore pile, the leaching solution is replaced with scrap steel, and the precipitated copper is obtained by concentration and drying.;

(2) The isolation method (there is one stage of isolation and two stages of isolation) is used to treat difficult-to-select copper oxide ore with high binding copper content.;

(3) Leaching-extraction—electrodeposition method is suitable for processing low-grade copper oxide ore and mixed ore;

(4) The bacterial leaching method is suitable for treating copper ore resources with low grade and complex copper ore storage conditions that cannot be rationally utilized by the mining industry, such as copper-containing waste stones.
