Product Description

The spiral chute produced by XKJ Group is a kind of resection equipment that uses the inertial centrifugal force generated by the ore slurry in the spiral rotation to realize the sorting of light and heavy minerals. It is widely used in the sorting of iron ore, ilmenite, tungsten ore, gold ore, tin ore, chromite, pyrite, zircon and other non-ferrous metals, rare metals and non-metallic minerals with different specific gravity.It is especially suitable for mineral sand mining on the seashore, riverside, sand bank, and stream bed.

Working principle

Slurry feeding and flow: The spiral chute is erected and fixed, and the ore is sent by the sand pump to the two feed ports on the top of the spiral, supplementary water is added to adjust the slurry concentration, and the slurry will naturally circulate down from a height.
Centrifugal force and gravity: In the rotating bevel flow rate, the slurry produces an inertial centrifugal force.Due to differences in their own specific gravity, particle size, and shape, ore particles are stratified and separated under the combined action of the gravity and centrifugal force of the swirl.

Ore particle separation process: The separation of ore particles in the spiral groove roughly goes through three stages.The first is that the ore particles are loose and initially layered on the surface of the spiral groove. The ore particles with a large specific gravity move to the inner edge of the groove, and the ore particles with a small specific gravity move to the outer edge of the groove; then a circulation is formed on the cross-section of the spiral groove to further promote the stratification of the ore particles according to the specific gravity; finally, at the end of the spiral groove, the ore particles are intercepted into concentrate, medium ore and tailings according to different grades.

Product structure

Main parts: The main body of the spiral chute is bolted by a spiral sheet made of glass fiber reinforced plastic, and the inner surface of the spiral chute is coated with a wear-resistant lining, such as polyurethane wear-resistant glue or epoxy resin mixed with artificial emery to enhance wear resistance.

Ore feeding device: There is a ore separator and a ore feeding tank in the upper part of the spiral chute, which is used to evenly feed the ore slurry.

Interception and ore receiving device: The lower part is equipped with a valve block type product interception groove, which can adjust the interception width of each product, and divide the sorted products into three categories (or four types) radially according to grade.The product agglomeration bucket is a central annular cylinder, which is used to gather and export the acquired changeable ore streams separately.

Support device: The entire equipment is erected vertically with a steel frame or channel steel to ensure its stable operation.
