According to the mineral processing test analysis, the crushing-grinding-desliming-flotation-magnetic separation process was designed for the lithium ore concentrator.
Spodumene feldspar separation and crushing process
According to the principle of "more crushing and less grinding", the crushing stage adopts a three-stage one closed-circuit crushing process, and the ore crushing particle size is controlled below 15mm. The selected equipment is two jaw crushers for primary and secondary crushing, and one cone crushing machine. The machine is used for fine crushing, and a circular vibrating screen is selected for the screening operation.
Process: The raw ore is fed from the raw ore bin by the feeder to the first-stage crusher for primary crushing, and the crushed product is fed to the second-stage crusher by the 1# belt conveyor for intermediate crushing, and the crushed product is transported by the 2# belt to the round The vibrating screen is used for sieving, and the sieved material is returned to the second-stage crushing operation by the 3# belt conveyor, while the under-screened material is transported to the third-stage crusher for fine crushing, and the crushed product is sent to the storage bin, ready to enter The next stage is grinding. The process at this stage not only reduces the energy consumption of grinding, but also avoids muddying caused by large fluctuations in feed particle size and continuous grinding.

The spodumene grinding and grading stage adopts a grinding process, which is equipped with a ball mill and a spiral classifier. The material is pumped from the feeding bin to the ball mill for grinding, and the ground product enters the classifier for classification, the overflow returns to the ball mill for regrinding, and the underflow is sent to the next stage for desliming.
Spodumene feldspar separation and desliming process
The spodumene desliming process adopts an inclined plate thickener for desliming. After the thick mud sliding down the inclined plate enters the lower cone, it is compressed and dehydrated, and the desliming operation is realized by gravity discharge.
Spodumene feldspar separation flotation process
The deslimed product enters the flotation operation. The spodumene flotation process adopts a rough-one-sweep-three-fine flotation process. Before entering the flotation, the overflow pulp of the thickener is first fed into the stirring tank At the same time, the agent is fed into the flotation machine after being stirred evenly, and the flotation process of one rough, one sweep and three fine is completed. The flotation machine is used in the beneficiation stage, and the middle ore is returned in sequence, and finally qualified spodumene concentrate is obtained. After flotation, the tailings part enters the magnetic separation stage, and the feldspar concentrate with higher purity (whiter) is obtained through magnetic separation to remove iron.
Spodumene feldspar separation magnetic separation process
The magnetic separation stage adopts a one-stage weak magnetic-two-stage strong magnetic separation process. The main purpose of the process at this stage is to remove iron from the tailings after flotation by magnetic separation and select feldspar ore with high purity. In order to enhance the iron removal effect, high-frequency fine sieving is carried out before magnetic separation to separate slag, and then feldspar powder is obtained after one magnetic field and two strong magnetic fields.
The spodumene feldspar separation process has stable production indicators, good economic benefits, high spodumene recovery rate, and feldspar powder whiteness up to 62.0%, which has achieved ideal production indicators.
