The jaw crusher should be installed on a concrete foundation, and in order to reduce vibration, wooden or rubber pads should be added between the foundation and the frame.
Operation:
Correct operation is one of the important factors to ensure the continuous and normal operation of the crusher. Improper operation or negligence during the operation process is often a major cause of equipment and personal accidents. The correct operation is to strictly follow the operating procedures.
Preparation before starting: Before starting the crusher, a comprehensive and careful inspection must be conducted, including checking the wear of the crusher teeth and adjusting the size of the discharge port; Check if there is any ore in the crushing chamber. If there are large pieces of ore, they must be removed; Is the connecting screw loose; Is the protective cover of the pulley flywheel intact; Is the tightness of the V-belt and tension rod spring appropriate; Is the lubrication system intact; Whether the electrical equipment and signal system are normal, etc.
Precautions for operation:
1.After starting, if the crusher makes abnormal knocking sounds, it should stop running, identify and eliminate the problems, and restart.
2. The crusher must be started with no load and wait for normal operation before starting the feeding equipment. The feeding of ore should gradually increase until it is fully loaded.
3. To evenly feed the ore, the ore must not fill the crushing chamber; The maximum size of ore feeding shall not exceed 0.85 times the width of the ore feeding port; At the same time, it is necessary to prevent non broken materials such as iron from the mine from entering the crushing machine during mining; Once these non broken materials are found passing through the discharge port, the belt transport station should be immediately notified to remove them in a timely manner to avoid entering the next crusher and causing serious equipment accidents. During the operation, it is also important to regularly pay attention to large pieces of ore getting stuck in the feeding port. Sometimes, iron hooks are used to flip them, and specialized tools should be used when removing them. Hands should not be used to avoid accidents. During operation, if too much ore is found to fill the crushing chamber, do not stop the crusher. Stop feeding and wait for the ore in the crushing chamber to be processed before starting the feeding machine.
During operation, regular inspections should be carried out to observe the condition of each component of the crusher and the temperature of the bearings through methods such as observation, listening, and touching. The temperature of the bearings should not exceed 60 ℃. If the bearing temperature is found to be too high, do not immediately stop the machine. Instead, increase the oil volume, force ventilation, water cooling, etc., and wait until the bearing temperature drops before stopping the machine for inspection and troubleshooting.
