Roller crushers are widely used in mining, metallurgy, chemical industry, building materials and other industries. It squeezes and crushes the material through two relatively rotating rollers. The roller crusher is mainly composed of a frame, a roller, a transmission device, a distance adjustment device and a lubrication system. The material enters the crushing chamber between the two rollers from the upper part, and is discharged from the bottom or side after extrusion and shear.
The ore discharge method and characteristics of the roller crusher
1.Natural falling ore discharge
The ore discharge process is simple, relying on the gravity of the broken material itself, it naturally falls and discharges from the gap between the two rollers. This method does not require additional power or complex mechanical structure to assist in ore discharge. The structure is simple, the reliability of the operation of the roller crusher is high, and it is not easy to affect the operation of the whole machine due to the failure of the ore discharge device.
The ore discharge speed is relatively slow. Due to gravity alone, the speed of material discharge depends on factors such as the particle size, shape, density of the broken material, and the size of the space under the gap between the two rollers. For some cases where the particle size is small, the density is large, and the space under the gap between the two rollers is limited, the ore discharge speed may be slow, which will affect the overall processing capacity of the roller crusher to a certain extent.
It is suitable for dry materials. For materials with good dryness and fluidity, natural falling ore discharge can be better adapted.Because such materials can be discharged more smoothly through their own gravity after crushing, it is not easy to cause clogging and other problems during the ore discharge process. However, if the material has a large humidity or a certain viscosity, it may adhere to the two rollers or the ore discharge channel, affecting the smoothness of the ore discharge.
2.Belt conveyor ore discharge
Belt conveyor for ore discharge, a belt conveyor is used to transport the broken material from the ore discharge port of the counter-roller crusher. The belt conveyor runs smoothly, which can ensure the continuous discharge of materials, avoid the accumulation of materials at the ore discharge port, and improve the efficiency and stability of ore discharge.Especially for production scenarios with large processing capacity and high continuous operation requirements, belt conveyor ore discharge has obvious advantages.
3.Screw conveyor ore discharge
The screw conveyor pushes the material forward through the rotation of the spiral blades, which can more accurately control the discharge speed and discharge volume of the material. For some production processes that require high ore discharge accuracy, the screw conveyor ore discharge method can meet the requirements to ensure that the material broken by the roller crusher can be discharged according to a predetermined flow rate and particle size distribution. The screw conveyor has a compact structure and takes up little space, so it can be installed and arranged in a limited space.Especially for some production sites with limited space, the screw conveying and discharging method has good adaptability.
