Ceramsite production process
The production of ceramsite rotary kiln adopts the expansion mechanism of ceramsite. The expansion temperature is carried out in the ceramsite rotary kiln, and then the material balls are well expanded under the action of gas to obtain the finished ceramsite. However, practice has shown that clay materials with good expansion properties hardly expand when heated slowly to the expansion temperature, and good expansion can be obtained if the temperature is raised rapidly. Therefore, the basic principle of calcining ceramsite is that the temperature of the material ball is moderately and slowly raised in the drying preheating kiln to prevent the material ball from cracking, and the temperature should be raised rapidly in the high temperature section of the ceramsite rotary kiln to achieve the ideal expansion effect.

working principle of Ceramic sand rotary kiln
The incoming bauxite with a particle size of 300-500mm is crushed and sent to the fluidized furnace dryer for drying, and then passes through the batching station with manganese powder and additives, and then enters the grinding system with eddy current separator to prepare fine powder. The raw meal powder with a density of more than 400 mesh is made into pellets with a qualified particle size by using a new type of granulator developed by Xingkuang Machinery. The pellets enter the dryer at the end of the kiln, using the waste heat of the exhaust gas at the end of the kiln to reduce the moisture content of the pellets, and then enter the rotary kiln for calcination after screening. The calcined ceramsite sand is cooled by a single cooler and then sieved through a cylindrical sieve. The qualified particles with different particle sizes are packaged separately before leaving the factory, and the unqualified pellets are returned to the grinding system. The fuel for calcining in the rotary kiln can be gas, oil or solid fuel.
