Once these dust and mineral particles enter the gear cover of the dry ball mill, they are difficult to sort out after being mixed with the lubricating oil, or even impossible to sort out.

These free hard particles that enter the friction surface from the outside become grinding media between the meshing tooth surfaces. They may plow and remove many grooves on the two gear surfaces, forming micro-cutting on the gear surface, which not only directly aggravates the wear of the tooth surface, but also pollutes the lubrication environment and deteriorates the oil quality, so that the transmission gear cannot get the proper lubrication. Therefore, when the liner bolt at the discharge end of the dry ball mill is loose or broken by the steel ball, or the gasket is damaged, the ore powder will leak out along the bolt hole or be thrown out by the dry ball mill, enter the poorly protected shield, mix into the lubricating oil, and long-term grinding of the tooth surface accelerates the abrasive wear of the gear.
